Audis new TT gets more power
Audi has confirmed more power for its popular coupe and roadster.
The German car maker revealed earlier in the year the TT would receive a facelift for its 2019 model, but now it has also confirmed new engine options as well as a new exterior package.
To celebrate its 20th anniversary model, Audi will launch a limited edition model available in coupe and roadster variants called the ‘TT 20 years’.
Only 999 special editions will be available bringing special badging, Nappa leather seats, door panels and centre console, 19-inch gloss-grey alloy wheels, custom exhaust tail pipes, LED taillights and two colour options: arrow grey and nano grey.
The TT’s top-spec engine option, the 45 TFSI will have 180kW, capable of reaching 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds, while the smaller 40 TFSI gets 145kW and reaches 100 km/h in 6.6 seconds.
Customers can opt for an S line exterior package, lowering the TT by 10mm and adding S sport seats. LED tail lights and headlights with cornering function are also available as an option.
The 2019 TT will also be available in three new colours: cosmos blue, pulse orange and turbo blue.
Audi says pre-orders for the new TT have already begun with its arrival due in the first half of 2019.
