Hannover, Germany / Kaluga, Russia, October 30, 2018.The leading technology company Continental celebrated today the fifth anniversary of its passenger and light truck tires plant in Kaluga, Russia. Continentals first greenfield manufacturing facility in Russia started operations in October 2013, totals EUR 240 million investments and employs by now over 1,000 employees. The guests of the ceremony, customers and employees recalled together the common achievements of the past years which made the tire plant a success story for the Tire Division of the corporation. Continental in Kaluga has continuously scaled up its tires production volume and expanded its portfolio to reach today more than 300 articles.
