Mini has added another special edition to its range.

This time it’s for the brand’s compact SUV.

It comes just a week after Mini announced it’s Cooper and Cooper S Kensington special models.

And now, the Mini Countryman has its own limited edition model - the Countryman Blackheath.

Mini will only make 60 examples of the Blackheath which will be offered in only one exterior colour - unsurprisingly, Midnight black metallic.

Blackheath models will also get Mini’s black line exterior package, adding black trims for the headlight and tail light surrounds, door handles and front grille surrounds.

Gloss black 18-inch ‘Pin spoke’ light alloy wheels, along with the roof and side mirrors add to what Mini says gives the special edition model a “striking yet sinister appearance, making it stand out on the road”.

The blacked-out theme also runs into the interior where the seats are finished in black leather and plastic surrounds are covered in piano black and chrome.

It also gets a panoramic sunroof, tinted windows and heated front seats as well as the Multimedia Pro Package which includes an 8.8-inch infotainment unit, heads-up display and a 12-speaker Harman Kardon sound system.

When it arrives, the Countryman Blackheath will have a price tag of $59,990 driveway.
