Video exclusive: NASCAR’s Chase Elliott has not been to the pool hall
It’s a tradition dating back to when his dad was winning NASCAR Cup races and his NASCAR Cup title in 1988. Bill Elliott is from Dawsonville Georgia and the Dawsonville Pool Room has always blared an air-raid siren every time he won.
That tradition has continued with son Chase. So far, the pool hall has sounded the siren three times this season including after Chase’s win last week at Kansas.
Saturday morning at Martinsville Speedway Chase talked about the pool hall, and how it feels coming to track as the Cup series latest race winner.
